Personality

          Viv is a banshee that haunts the woods near Kit's house. As most other faeries do, Viv prefers to dress in flowy fabrics in earthy tones. She particularly loves green and gold, and describes her favorite color as "Kit's left eye." While she is not necessarily warm or nurturing, her intense curiosity bonds her to Kit in particular because she finds him incredibly interesting. She prefers to be around a lot of other people, but takes on the role of a watcher rather than someone who actually participates with others. Due to how easily she gets caught up in the lives of others, Viv can sometimes neglect to take care of her own needs, and will often end up devoting her entire existence to whoever she deems most entertaining at the time. Boredom, in her mind, is incredibly dangerous and undesirable. This causes her to often be found fueling the fire from the sidelines.

          Though she is seldom outwardly sad, Viv has a certain loneliness surrounding her. This becomes even more apparent whenever things are slow or quiet. She refuses to travel much and has an inexplicable nostalgia for the wooded area she resides in. Being a banshee, Viv also has a magnetic pull towards those who are about to experience great loss. She cries whenever anything bad is about to happen, especially when someone is about to die, but she is not able to determine who the victim will be.
